Pelmen Foods Perogies*<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp. Olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Medium onion (finely diced)<\/li>\n<li>3 Garlic cloves minced<\/li>\n<li>1 Large carrot (peeled and finely diced)<\/li>\n<li>1 Large celery stick (finely diced)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. Unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>1 lb Quality Italian sausage meat<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup White wine<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup Milk<\/li>\n<li>1 can (796ml) Diced tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>Fresh ground pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup Fresh basil (roughly chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Parmesan Cheese (grated)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oil in a large sauce pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot and celery. Saut\u00e9 for 8 mins until vegetables are soft and browned, stirring occasionally.<\/li>\n<li>Add butter and sausage and cook over medium-high heat until meat has browned 6-8 mins.<\/li>\n<li>Add wine and stir until liquid has evaporated. Add milk and stir.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomatoes and fresh ground pepper. Stir well and let simmer over low heat for 1-1 \u00bd hours, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes have melted and sauce has thickened. When sauce has finished, mix in basil.<\/li>\n<li>Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
