(454g) Pelmen Foods Savoury Perogies<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. Oil<\/li>\n<li>2 Large garlic cloves (minced)<\/li>\n<li>1 Medium onion (minced)<\/li>\n<li>1 lb. Ground veal<\/li>\n<li>1 can (796ml) Crushed tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup Fresh basil (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Salt and fresh ground pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd cup Mozzarella (shredded)<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. Italian bread crumbs<\/li>\n<li>Possible Toppings: Chili Peppers (Feta, Fresh Basil, Parmesan Cheese.)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 400 F. Spray a 9&#215;6 rectangular oven safe pan with cooking spray and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add perogies and cook stirring occasionally for 5 mins. Drain and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>In a large sauce pan, over medium heat, heat oil. Add garlic and onions and saut\u00e9 until translucent, 1- 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add ground veal and cook until brown, 6-8 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Turn off heat and mix in fresh basil.<\/li>\n<li>Line the bottom of the pan with a cup of sauce. Add perogies and top with remaining sauce.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle mozzarella evenly on top and drizzle with breadcrumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10-15 mins until cheese has melted and golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Let stand for 5 mins before serving.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perogy Lasagna 1 pkg.
